Custom Silhouettes
CNCROi.com makes lots of custom silhouettes based on our customer’s requirements, whether it’s for birthday parties or corporate ornaments.
A custom silhouettes can be just about anything, from simple geometric shapes like circles, squares and arrows to far more complex animal shapes.
Quite often, our customers know exactly the custom silhouettes they want in the material of their choice in the volume they require, that was the case for the neon yellow camels we shipped to one of our European customers a while back.
And for that application, they actually grabbed an image directly from our CNCROi.com‘s Shapes Library so we already had the digital file required, with a few modifications to the customer’s requirements and the material in stock to quickly produce and ship it out to them.
Zebras, elephants, gorillas or whatever other animal you want, we are here to make it just for you in an endless variety of materials!
Other times, our customers want a custom silhouettes that we help them come-up with the design and they take things after us, painting and finishing them at their end.
For the camels above, it was neon yellow acrylic while for these gears, we used 1/8th inch or 3 mm MDF but the results are always the same, our customers love the boxes we send to them full of their custom silhouettes.
Generally for CNCROi.com‘s customers, the shapes are the same, in volume so things like mustaches but times 100 units although we can just as easily create unique custom silhouettes each different or personalized to the others just as easily.
With our new CNCROi.com waterjet cutting services, we are now able to expand our capabilities quite a bit in low relative volumes to using a 6 kw fiber laser where things become cost-effective only at larger volumes.
The advantage to waterjet cutting metal is that the turnaround is relatively quick and the results are “pre-sanded” which is really nice, especially after the work has been additionally smoothed using our industrial sand blaster.
Of course, we also make lots of custom silhouettes and more complex shapes using our other tools in the CNCROi.com shop, like our industrial CNC router.
