Name badges made out of acrylic are incredibly resilient and long-lasting, they are weather proof and our process allows them to be made into any shape and size.
We typically make our custom acrylic name badges 3 inches (76 mm) long x 1 inch (25 mm) high with straight or rounded corners with a thickness of 1/8 inch or 3 mm. Our custom acrylic name badges are permanently engraved, meaning there is nothing to peel, fade or scratch off.
As with everything else at CNCROi.com, they are produced on-demand so you can order two identical acrylic name badges or a different name on each. It’s completely up to you! Not only that, we can also make larger volumes through database acquisition meaning you can send us a list of all your employees and they’ll all have their unique name badges made without any naming errors.
Price INCLUDES custom materials, cutting and personalized engraving.

How long does acrylic last?
Like all plastics, acrylic does tend to dry over time and even more so when exposed to the Sun for extended periods of time but we are talking about a name badge here, not a plastic bag blowing in the wind. As such, it will not fade or crack or “dry out” anytime soon, we’ve been using the same acrylic name badges in our shop for years without any problems.
I’d like to have the name badges done in a variety of colors, is that possible?
The “base” acrylic is available in a variety of color options and the engraving produces varying contrast. Paint filling IS an option as well though this also requires a transparent seal so it doesn’t come off during normal wear and tear.

Won’t it look weird having a custom name badge that’s semi-transparent with a black magnet that you can see through it?
Absolutely! That’s why you generally want to stick to solid colors, alternatively, we can put a hole on the top or either side (we do make these on-demand in our shop) so you can tie a lanyard or string (be as creative as you wish) to hang the name badge if you want something different.
Can you add my logo to these custom name badges?
Yes, but we’ve found just sticking your name in huge letters with an extremely brief explanation of what you do to be more effective, your business cards (which we can also make) is where you should be adding meat to the bone.
What colors can you engrave into the acrylic?
Generally, CNC laser engraving acrylic produces a “ligher” color but we can paint fill if you require something a bit more permanent though it does add a bit to the production costs.
