You might be wondering why a restaurant would need a 304SS pizza cutting tray template… well, training somebody to cut pizza slices properly in a fast paced environment where pizzas are flying requires quite a bit of time, if they can just follow the 304SS pizza cutting tray template, then training has now gone down to almost zero.
The material used for this project was 304 stainless steel, 12 ga or 2.8 mm or just slightly less than 1/8″ thick.

To greatly improve the esthetics of this sheet of 304 stainless steel, CNCROi.com will sand both sides, we can keep sanding with finer grit for a mirror finish but for this 304SS pizza cutting tray template job, just a dull finish is more than adequate.
Fiber laser etching is a permanent process, it will not fade, crack or peel over time, unlike any inks or dyes.

In order to produce more visibility from the laser etching, CNCROi.com made multiple lines close together rather than just a series of very fine lines placed across the template.
Although there is quite a bit of etching happening on this plasma cut sheet of stainless steel, we don’t need to worry about warping during the etching process because it’s both thick and overall, only a fraction of the surface area is actually etched.
The very fine lines produced by the fiber laser are exaggerated a bit in these photos and video because it’s before cleaning. so a little bit of dust and debris created during the fiber etching on both sides.

Fiber laser etching is impervious to heat, meaning you can heat up the metal anywhere you want, for instance, for welding applications, and the etching will not leave as it’s part of the metal itself, nothing is added or removed.
