Custom Branding Solutions: Annealed Stainless Steel Bottle Opener
Annealing stainless steel bottle openers is only possible because CNCROi.com has a fiber laser source, in addition to our CO2, thanks to our Austrian dual-sourced industrial laser!
CNCROi.com is able to apply a permanent matte finish onto our stainless steel offerings. The advantage to this finish is that the shine is greatly reduced on the stainless steel itself.
The PERMANENT fiber annealing on this stainless steel bottle opener is permanent regardless of the shiny or matte finish, the only difference is the shine in the areas where there was no annealing.
Fiber annealing is a slow and methodical process but it’s incredibly precise, accurate and looks fantastic. Annealing is a mixture of high intensity heat and oxygen on the surface of the metal that changes it to black.
This blackness occurs without anything being added or removed from the surface, it’s similar to what happens during the tempering process just a lot more focused and controlled.
The precision of annealing stainless steel is unparalleled. Again, it’s a permanent process and will not peel, crack or fade over time. Whether sitting in a burning desert Sun environments or deep in frozen areas, annealing looks great and stays that way!
As the permanent annealing process on these stainless steel bottle openers doesn’t damage the surface or weaken the metal itself, it’s a completely compatible and long-lasting branding solution that isn’t available using any other method.
We offer a host of different stainless steel solutions, from industrial machine tags and professional business cards to bottle openers and just about anything else you can need.
Regardless of what you want from us, we offer annealing and custom fabrication processes using stainless steel.
Alternatively, if you don’t want stainless steel, we also offer similar solutions using anodized aluminium, brass and just about any other metal spec under the Sun.
Take a look very closely at what we annealed black, the definition is incredible, the text is a very small font size but it’s still clearly legible.
The reason why this appears darker in the video than the other annealing we do is just the surface reflection differences. The above video shows you directly how a matte affects the surface quality of these stainless steel bottle openers.
To re-enforce what’s possible, what you see in the video below onto the anodized aluminium with the off-white engraving. The exact same resolution and solutions are possible onto stainless steel with annealing.
The only difference would be the blue color in the above cards would be grey stainless steel (reflective or matte finish) and what you see as off-white would be black. The two materials are interchangeable as are dozens of other material options from wood veneer to laminates, acrylics to whatever other material you want us to fabricate onto and from.
Notice how the black annealing is consistent across the entire process and, most importantly, how sharp it is. There is no jagged edges, no fuzzy finish or variances in surface quality. This is only achievable using bleeding cutting edge equipment and software solutions which CNCROi.com has invested heavily in upon our founding.
Now, to see now the annealing dances in the light. The annealing process isn’t a flat black, like you’d see in vinyl printing or other methods, this is because the inner shine of the metal remains.
Remember, nothing is added to this stainless steel to produce the black color, the metal is still metal, just darker due to oxidation which is why it’s such a permanent process.
Just to give you yet another application where we use custom produced stainless steel blanks with annealing are drink coasters, either alone or as inserts inside of them.
There are so many applications that we use our fiber laser to anneal stainless steel, from custom fabricated industrial and aerospace parts that need serial numbers through to branding wedding knives and other metal objects.
