This custom anodized aluminium coaster for instance IS CUSTOM, it’s 1/8″ 3 mm thick with a custom anodizing color (dark red vs standard red) and the profile edges to overall shape are to the customer’s spec.

I really enjoy sharing these production pictures, it just shows you how beautiful various processes are when they are topped in time, as this happens faster than our brains or eyes can process them.

What I really like about these close-ups of the anodized aluminium custom drink coaster being branded is how all the explosions are exactly the same height, there is no variation like you’d see on a wave, it’s almost a straight line of flashes and sparks!

Taking wood for instance, that’s more of a burning into the material while this is just removing and bleaching an extremely thin layer of anodizing from the custom drink coaster while with polycarbonate, it’s a phase changing process, all done at CNCROi.com, all using different processes.
