Custom Millwork
CNCROi.com does a lot of custom millwork, what makes things fun here though is that our projects are incredibly diversified where right now, we are having a huge run in metal related projects but before that, it was millwork and plastics related.
Whether it’s Oak, Pine, Cedar, Maple or even Mahogany, CNCROi.com produces quite a few custom millwork projects for clients across mostly North America and the Caribbean.
I’ve stated this many times but it bears repeating, about half our business related projects are now related to metal, with the other half being custom millwork and plastics, but regardless of how you split things up, they are all going upwards in growth.
Why is CNCROi.com‘s custom millwork (and everything else) been going up year after year? It’s quite easy, if you do enough of something, you become good at it and as word spreads about the quality of North American craftmanship, other companies and individuals want to get something made for their application by us as well!
Being entirely custom, millwork or otherwise, we rely on a ever increasing number of North American suppliers to give us the materials our customers need for their projects, whether it’s custom anodized aluminium parts fabrication from Texas and California, Steel from Quebec or plastics from mills in Virginia, we support an increasing number of businesses big and small as they support CNCROi.com with custom projects.
For instance, where did the live edge basswood from these two projects (video above and below) come from? Well, that’s the state of Northern Michigan and Wisconsin USA!
How about the Pine that CNCROi.com used for this Pine pyrography project below? Yep, that’s up in Ontario, Canada.
How about the Maple found in this custom millwork desk business card holder? That came from NY state, though we also get some Maple from Ontario as well.
When it comes to custom millwork as with everything else CNCROi.com does, we try to find companies that are like us who have a deep passion for their products, whether it’s wood, metal or plastics.
If at all possible, I also take time to actually go visit the businesses we buy supplies from, this is important as there is nobody more knowledgeable about wood harvesting and kiln drying than the company that does this for a living… and this knowledge is then passed onto our customers who appreciate not having bugs come out of their millwork a few months down the line.
CNCROi.com has a lot of experience in custom millwork and haven recently taught myself welding, there is now a huge amount of “new” things that we can fabricate using the best mix of all raw materials available to us to make something just for you.
There is a huge variety of projects that are possible when it comes to custom millworking applications, from engraving custom kitchen cabinets with corporate logos and family photos permanently.
To real wood signage for businesses and restaurants, CNCROi.com can not only build the table but we can also engrave the table top with your branding (or menu) AND make the drink coasters to go along with it!
Not only that, but we can also make the custom wooden name badges out of the same or different wood species that we made the other things in your restaurant out of.
What I really enjoy about custom millwork is just the huge diversity of applications, it’s really limitless what’s possible using just a little creativity, amazing wood suppliers across North America and the passion we all have for our related industries.
Whether it’s for an upcoming wedding and you want a huge slab of Walnut engraved with your special date that will be followed with signatures from everybody who attended…
Or a sign displaying your favorites Pine bible verse, CNCROi.com has the passion and expertise to make it happen for you.

If you want to get an idea of what CNCROi.com‘s custom production process is, here’s another video for you to watch, the steps are essentially the same whether it’s custom millwork or a project made using other materials on hand.
CNCROi.com isn’t just a supplier of custom millwork, we also make our own for use here in the shop, generally using scraps laying around that are in need of a new purpose in life.
Before I moved from Perth, Australia back to North America, I also made myself a really cool Kangaroo storage shelf out of Australian MDF so we’ve used materials from all around the world!
Not just MDF, plywood too.
Regardless of your custom millwork requirements, contact CNCROi.com and we’ll make it for you!
