Industrial Strength Name Badges

Last year, we made custom industrial strength name badges for the DM Robotics team, High Voltage 2852, this year, we decided to make them out of anodized aluminium instead of stainless steel.
The robotics club has really grown, we produced quite a few more this time around than last which is a great sign! We used our name badge jig to quickly and accurately place our custom stamped blanks into position then loaded-up our name database file and began fiber laser engraving the names and High Voltage 2852 realtime!
We have a ton of tolerances in our Austrian dual-sourced CNC laser, which comes in handy when our industrial or mill work customers have large or awkward parts needing custom identification or branding on parts.
The dust that builds-up is the anodization that’s being vaporized away and settling on the side of the wording. The color across all anodized aluminium fiber marked is an off-gray and we can get the tags in pretty much any color you wish.
The advantage of these name badges over UV printed ones on plastic is these won’t fade with use, they are very hard to scratch and project a professional image when they match the color of your company branding.
The advantage of anodized name badges over say, stainless steel, is the cost as production is much faster and material pricing is also less. It’s a double-whammy! We also make custom name badges across a variety of materials from Corian to acrylic, laminates to stone (yes, stone!)
These industrial strength name badges are also a great way to gain attention as you simply don’t see industrial strength name badges at networking events… why? Name badges are a wonderful way to have people remember your name and company, there is nothing worse than going to a networking event and having no memory of a name to go with the face you are speaking to. As these are anodized aluminium, they are incredibly easy to clean and due to the magnet in the back, don’t rip or tear cloths when worn. These don’t have a typical magnet in the back by the way, we use ultra-strong rare earth magnets… no cheap junk magnets behind our custom name badges!
