Laser Engraving Anodized Aluminium Dog Tags
We’ve annealed solid 304 stainless steel business cards and the way down to engraving small anodized aluminium dog tags, I’ve posted lots of pictures and videos of the SS so let’s do the dog tags today on CNCROi.com.
These small dog tags are available in a variety of shapes, colors, sizes and composition… the grey ones you see in the above picture are actually solid 304 stainless steel and not anodized aluminium. If you have large quantities and specific requirements, we can get these cut to any size you need and powder coated. So, if you have a thousand dog tags you want made with a wooden color and texture to them each measuring a meter by 60 cm (or bigger!), yep, CNCROi.com can make it happen!
Whether it’s a few dozen or a few hundred, the basic steps are always the same, make sure the laser is in focus, do a small test run and then let our Trotec Speedy 400 flexx do its magic! In this case, it’s a pink dog tag that looks off-color due to the acrylic shielding on our CNC laser that protects our eyes from the radiation released by the laser!
The engraving happens pretty quickly and we can also mark them if required – it depends on the application which laser source we use. We are the only ones in Canada with the ability to use either a fiber or CO2 tube on our projects which is fantastic across a variety of materials.
