Pine Bible Verse Sign: 3/4″ Laminated Pine CNC Laser Engraved & Cut

This is a laminated pine board, the advantage of this vs a pine plank is that it has more weight to it even for the same size and thickness as there is glue and compression involved with its fabrication.

Otherwise, pine is pine, it’s still all real wood all the way through.

The other advantage of laminated pine over pine from one tree slab is that it’s available in far wider sections at a dramatically reduced price.

Finding 48 inch wide planks is very much a special order item with a price tag to match, while laminated pine to that width is easy to find.

I also find laminated pine board to be less prone to warping, so for all these reasons and more, for signs, it’s a wonderful material, all the advantages of the real thing without any of the draw backs… and it’s still the REAL SOLID PINE.

As we CNC laser engrave this custom pine bible verse sign, you can see the smoke rising-up above the letters, this is where the strongest extraction occurs so the smoke is pulled towards that after being vaporized by our Austrian wide-format industrial laser.

Laser vaporizing pine does produce smoke and fire, more so when cutting through the custom pine bible verse sign because more material is being removed.

Here’s the custom pine bible verse sign from another angle, the nice thing about pine is the relatively light color it has, which makes the laser engraving pop even more as it’s darker.

After blowing off the dust from the sanding process, you can see at closer inspection how the “trouble of” will be “trouble” visually when looking at the sign.

Now, it’s been dramatically reduced and from a meter away, it looks like just another line of grain going across this custom pine bible verse sign.
