Stainless Steel, Anodized Aluminium, Brass or Plastic Custom Tags

CNCROi.com is capable of producing tags in almost endless tag sizes and options from Stainless Steel, Anodized Aluminium, Brass or Plastic to laminates (such as Formica), composites and even scraps you find around the shop.

Here’s a brief (very brief!) sizing chart we use here to help our customers choose among the endless options we provide to them as part of our quoting process.

All our holes are 1/8th inch by default and you can pick to have none, 2 or 4. As mentioned, material options are endless but in general, 304 stainless steel is (.03″ thick), Anodized (.05″), Brass (.04″) or plastics (various). You can also opt to have the corners round or square!

As for Anodized Aluminium Colors, you can choose among default red, blue, green, pink, black, gold or purple and if you have enough volume (or budget), we can get them custom powder coated in any color, texture or pattern you wish including having them clear coated for extra corrosive environments such as underground mining.

Custom and Stock Tag Applications

We’ve produced custom and stock tags for a host of manufacturers, mill workers and other companies, including a few tags for animals (the bottom row in the above image). From individual production runs (pets don’t tend to run through tags that fast) to thousands (branding), CNCROi.com has helped with identification needs across a variety of verticals and market segments.

For instance, we’ve produced 304 Stainless Steel dog tags for a project that involved unique alphanumerics for testing a conveying system’s camera identification system where each one was a unique alpha-numeric which we laser annealed using our fiber laser tube off a database. We’ve also produced an endless number of anodized aluminium custom business cards of all colors using our fiber laser tube, which produces an off-white marking.

The advantage to using anodized aluminium over solid steel (which we can also engrave, mark, engrave or anneal onto) is they are light in weight which is great for networking events. They last far longer than laminates, are thinner and unlike veneer business cards (done that too!), stay looking “fresh” almost forever… they are incredibly easy to clean too!
