TeaLightBox.com is now LIVE!
Over the holidays I began working on TeaLightBox.com that allows CNCROi.com to offer something incredibly affordable, useful and totally custom to our customers looking for a gift for just about any occasion.
The site is very much bare bones but CNCROi.com was exactly that way a bit over 3 years ago and look at how much it has grown since then, right now there are only 100 designs but that will be in the thousands soon enough.
The idea behind TeaLightBox.com is simple, bringing a little custom to everybody’s life, which is something we do here at CNCROi.com but there isn’t anything pre-packaged like it that’s incredibly user-friendly and straight forward.
I was hoping to launch the site about a week ago but as with any new business, things always seem to take longer and cost more than initially thought but I’m very happy to finally have the foundation out-of-the-way and can now focus on building-up inventory.
The goal of TeaLightBox.com‘s design approach was to build something that can be put together by just about anybody without requiring a workshop full of specialized tools, just two rubber bands, some glue and you can build your very own custom tea light box.
You could technically get away using only one rubber band but I figure if you have more than one, might as well use it!
What has allowed this site and product to become possible is the incredibly cheap price of LED candles, you can buy them just about anywhere for under a buck and they last longer, and are safer, than their wax cousins.
What’s really cool is that they can flicker, so at a distance, they look and act just like the real thing without having to worry about falling asleep and waking-up to a house fire!
Utilizing a lot of the same technology I used to build CNCROi.com, from 3D visualization to our top of the line shop, we are able to fit in and produce quantities of one or a thousand custom tea lights to suit any mood, occasion or event.
I really want to bring custom fabrication options to the masses, there is a huge market in having something personalized and made JUST FOR YOU and this is one of several ideas I’ll be working on over the years to accomplish this.
