New Location: Today is the BIG move!
It has taken a few days to pack everything, quite a contrast to when we moved into our first location just over a year ago. The CNCs we have in our shop are the easy things, it’s all the auxiliary equipment and supplies that we’ve built-up that will require some heavy lifting.
It’s surprising how much stuff builds-up in a Custom CNC shop over such a short period of time, unless we are accepting deliveries, we still aren’t posting an address anywhere in our documentation including this website. Why? Well, we don’t have or want drop-ins.
Most of our work is NDA, having “open anytime shop tours” just doesn’t work with the type of work we do. We aren’t building stealth fighters but by the same token, we value our customer’s privacy and honor their agreements. Anybody coming to the shop is by appointment and we know about ahead of time so we can cover or move what we don’t want them to see.
I’ll be building-up a small display though of some of our work, something we don’t currently have, so at least the videos I produce for CNCROi.com are a bit more interesting background wise and our customers have stuff they can touch and see without revealing our customer base.
Not sure how long it will be before we outgrow where we are moving into right now but at least we’ve established a location with more room to grow into without having to move again for a good long while. We should be back in production mode first thing Monday after spending the weekend sorting and organizing things once more.
