Haven made a lot of custom cake toppers through the years, there is a general flow that comes about when we go about making them for you.
- Customer contacts CNCROi.com.
- We reply back asking timeline (plan ahead!), budget and material preferences.
- About 25% of the time the customer needs one in the next few days and I tell them to try again next year.
- Of the remainder, another 25% want a custom cake topper made for the price of what you’d find at the local dollar store, I tell them to go get their there*.
- Of the half left-over, about half have some design capabilities and can send us a file of exactly what they want, we then cut and ship within 24 hours (takes a week to arrive tracked via mailman).
- The remaining half take a few days to sort out the design elements and then we make and ship.
*My goal with CNCROi.com was never to compete head to head against Walmart or the dollar stores of the world, they have HUGE VOLUMES and as a result, massive price breaks per unit on everything from machinery to materials including shipping. Making a few cake toppers costs a lot more per unit than making a hundred thousand identical ones.
