After extensive sanding, the results looks spectacular, this isn’t even finished with varnish or other wood preservatives which we find are very much optional, what I generally tell clients is that if you want something to stand out a bit more, you can always varnish these easily down the line but if we varnish them for you and you want something a bit more mellow, then it’s a tremendous amount of work to remove the varnish.
Taking a closer look at the laser engraving, you can see how important depth and shadows play in producing the overall contrast on these Walnut live edge wedding plaques and how sharp all the engraving is regardless of the letter or curves found within.
