After the rubber is finished, CNCROi.com then glues this onto a solid 3/4″ furniture grade plywood so that the customer has a solid handle to grab from when using this custom rubber stamp for doing their branding work.
As the plywood wasn’t laser cut or machined, I just roughly cut it to size using my bandsaw and then move onto the sander to make all the edges flush with the rubber, that’s why there is an extra margin all around, it gives me just enough give to do this without damaging the custom manual stamp.
