Custom Trodat Professional 5211

The rubber CNCROi.com used for this custom Trodat Professional 5211 is green, this is more environmentally friendly and just as durable as the traditional red or grey rubber, which we also use for differing applications for clients across North America.
When it comes to custom options for your stamp, using vector images and any mix of fonts and font sizes works totally fine, clear black and white imagery also comes out dramatically better.
The first custom Trodat Professional 5211 we are making at the shop is actually for a Canadian company and on the left is a wonderful highly detailed vector and on the right is the name of the company using two different font sizes though it’s the same font.
Our most popular stamp is the Trodat Professional 5212 followed closely by the Trodat Professional 5211, both are wonderful and both have their own unique niche for our customers impression requirements.
The second custom Trodat Professional 5211 we are making is actually a vector image in the shape of a martini glass with a custom font incorporated with it, both came out fantastically and both are the perfect size for this self-inking stamp.

Generally, I make the stamp just slightly smaller than the available surface area, it just gives a bit of wiggle room for when it comes to adhering the rubber that we laser engrave and cut onto the stamping mechanism to make sure all the results, in this case on the custom Trodat Professional 5211, come out perfectly.
We also test each and every stamp before it leave the shop, if there are any issues present, we want to fix it before shipping it out to the customer, hence the physical proof on a piece of paper each and every time we make a custom self-inking stamp.
The powder you see building-up around and on the stamp itself is just rubber dust, it doesn’t affect the laser or the engraving in any way, the process is rather quiet as well and the rubber dust comes right off during the cleaning process at CNCROi.com for both of these custom Trodat Professional 5211 stamps.
After laser engraving the rubber, the machine then cuts it out, this makes sure that everything is completely precise, meaning the stamp cannot move from the greater sheet during the laser engraving process if we cut it first – though we also employ double sided tape on the back just to make sure nothing moves a nano-meter.
Highly detailed stamps are no problem for us, your only real limit is your creativity because even very fine details come out amazing, just make sure to leave enough surface area for the ink to adhere to.
The image always looks a little blurry after CNCROi.com laser engraves and cuts rubber, the main reason for this is the dust, it’s a fine powder that’s all over and the camera has difficulty focusing on anything sharp as a result.
Now that the first custom Trodat Professional 5211 is done, it’s time to engrave and cut the rubber for the other custom Trodat Professional 5211 we are doing at CNCROi.com.
This makes things more efficient, rather than clean one rubber and then having to clean the next, best to just clean everything together in one shot!

The bright light you see during the laser engraving process is the instant vaporization of the Trodat rubber from our laser, the result is dust but otherwise, most of it is picked-up by the extraction system we have on our machine.
As you can see, the bright light happens when we want to engrave and no light when we want nothing to happen, this is how engraving works, it’s very much an on/off process, hence why black and white imagery works great!

The results from the engraving process on the Trodat rubber look great, although to really reveal the beauty we’ve produced, we got to get rid of a layer of dust that’s literally covering every inch of not just the stamps but the surrounding rubber area as well.
Custom rubber stamp production is a messy process, but the results after cleaning are night and day, these stamps are amazing!
