Persian Welcome Sign: Multlingual Farsi / English Signage
It’s pretty cool how our laser can scribe a Persian welcome sign using both Farsi and English just as easily as Chinese and a host of other languages.
For a proper wooden Persian welcome sign, I used a wonderfully unique piece of live edge wood, it sort of looked like perchmant paper and instead of the rips along the bottom, the bark of the tree added just the perfect amount of flare to the overall sign.
This Persian welcome sign was left unfinished on purpose, the customer will be doing this at their end, it will really make the grain pop and give a wonderful shine to the bark.
If you want to get an idea of a Chinese welcome sign, also made out of live edge wood, check out the video below.
You can see what a sign looks like with the bark left on vs taken off (cut away) and both looks are unique in their own way, thick or thin, big or small, whatever species you want, CNCROi.com can make a custom welcome sign for you!
When it comes to design options for your very own welcome sign, it can be any font type or size, any language font and any mix and match of black and white imagery.
As for the material, if this customer would have wanted their Persian welcome sign out of 316 stainless steel, that wouldn’t have been a problem.
When it comes to live edge, CNCROi.com has an extensive inventory across many species, sizes and attributes to make the perfect live edge sign you want, with or without bark.
For this Persian welcome sign, the two farsi scripts you see in it mean love and faith, this lingual personalization is something I really like doing as it makes the live edge sign all the more “theirs” and is very much one of a kind.
When it comes to getting a nice deep but rich engraving on this live edge Persian welcome sign, multiple passes were performed using our wide-format Austrian industrial CNC laser along with a few tricks to give it a beveled 3D look that just doesn’t film or photograph well.
CNCROi.com has made a lot of custom wooden signage, you don’t have to be a designer either, we can help you lay things out to get the perfect welcome sign for your needs.
CNCROi.com does produce smoke during the Persian welcome sign production, the whole shop smelled like a camp fire which is very welcoming smell on it’s own, this does go away over time, especially after it’s finished.
Having a clearly legible font is very important when it comes to custom live edge signage especially, we have some customers who want to give these as wedding presents and initially they want the most ornamental font you can find but if you can’t read the sign, it isn’t very useful as a sign.
We can also batch process custom welcome signs, whether it’s for your cottage, home or business, we offer total flexibility.
I really love the bark along the bottom of this Persian welcome sign, it just fit the font and Farsi so well, adding a lot of extra depth to the live edge sign, it’s something I really need to do more of at CNCROi.com now that I have a good online sample of it.
Like Chinese characters, the Farsi script is very interesting and adds a lot of appeal to the overall sign, it’s a good mix of flowing lines and dots.
Going over the same area multiple times creates a unique profile to the Persian welcome sign which adds a lot more personalization and accentuates the overall esthetics of the signage.
CNCROi.com can also engrave deep details into custom signage, especially when it comes to wood.
So regardless of the elements you want, CNCROi.com can make it happen as long as the associated budget range accounts for the extra machining and complexities involved.
This Persian welcome sign is now done, it just needs a quick sanding to add a bit contrast and sharpness to the overall live edge wooden sign.
